General terms and conditions (GTC) for the holiday accommodation
- 1. Booking and confirmation
- 1.1. A booking is considered binding as soon as it has been confirmed in writing (by email) by the landlord.
- 1.2. By confirming the booking, the guest accepts these GTC.
- 2. Payment conditions
- 2.1. The entire amount must be transferred within 7 days of booking confirmation. For short-term bookings (the period between booking and arrival is less than 7 days), the entire amount is due immediately.
- 3. Withdrawal and cancellation
- 3.1. Cancellation must be made in writing.
- 3.2. To receive a full refund, guests must cancel within 48 hours of booking and the cancellation must be made at least 14 days before check-in. If they cancel at least 14 days before check-in but not within 48 hours of booking, guests will only receive 50% of the booking amount for all booked nights. If there are less than 14 days but at least 7 days left until check-in, guests will receive 50% of the booking amount for all booked nights. If they cancel after this time, guests will not receive a refund.
- 3.3. In the event of a no-show or early departure, there is no right to a refund.
- 4. Arrival and departure
- 4.1. Arrival is possible from 3:00 p.m. Departure must be by 10:00 a.m.
- 4.2. A later arrival or an earlier departure must be agreed with the landlord.
- 5. House rules
- 5.1. The guest undertakes to comply with the house rules that are displayed in the accommodation.
- 5.2. Smoking is prohibited in the entire accommodation. Smoking is only permitted outside.
- 6. Liability
- 6.1. The tenant is liable for all damage to the accommodation or its inventory that occurs during his stay.
- 6.2. The landlord is not liable for loss or damage to the guest's property, unless this is due to gross negligence on the part of the landlord.
- 7. Keys
- 7.1. The tenant receives a key for the accommodation upon arrival. This must be returned upon departure.
- 7.2. If the key is lost, the tenant bears the costs for replacing the lock.
- 8. Data protection
- 8.1. The landlord processes the guest's personal data exclusively within the framework of the applicable data protection regulations.
- 8.2. The data is used exclusively to process the stay and is not passed on to third parties.
- 9. Place of jurisdiction
- 9.1. The place of jurisdiction for all disputes arising from this contract is Minden.
- 10. Severability clause
- 10.1. Should individual provisions of these terms and conditions be invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions remains unaffected.
